During spring 2009 I spent four months at the LBNL working with the DER-CAM group. I had the opportunity to collaborate in two different projects, one of them still ongoing. This gave me a good insight on how DER-CAM works and what it can do, which was the main goal of my trip. I’ve enjoyed my time living in the Bay Area, working at the lab was a very good experience, the group has a great team spirit and I definitely plan to be back in the next couple of years, as I carry on with my PhD.
