Abstract

Motivation & Objective for this Researchaccelerate penetration of carbon minimizing technologies in the building sector and enable zero emission buildings byassessing the impact of federal and state research funding as well as energy policies on technology penetration in the long run, to 2050considering uncertainty, e.g. in energy price, in research success, etc., anddesigning the open source, fast running, long range Stochastic Lite Building Module (SLBM) to estimate the impact of different policies, consumer behavior, on the market penetration of low carbon building technologies
